Lieutenant Karis Dorne grew up amidst the order and strict regimen of a prominently military family on Senos, the birthplace of many regarded officers in the Red Sun's interstellar fleets. Following in her father's footsteps, she joined the Red Sun Navy at a young age.

While earning respect for her tactical prowess and unwavering dedication, always lingering beneath the surface was an unremarkable perception; she quietly accepted roles that put her just short of the spotlight. Her unique skills and unnerving attention to detail brought her to serve under the command of the SS Ascendant, a ship operating at the heart of the Red Sun Navy.
