Backstory

Remus Thornebar Challen's expertise in engineering became evident at a young age. Always naturally gifted with mechanical devices, he was conscripted by the Dominion to maintain machinery and equipment in labor camps. His talent and determination saw him rise, as did his awareness of the Dominion's reliance on technology for its dominance.

Remus's transfer to Meristine revealed new possibilities that piqued his innate ambition. Fascinated by local tales of the Maleks, he spent spare moments observing these apex predators, eventually concocting a bold theory of controlling them using sound frequencies. Though generally a stickler for methodical strategies, he was swayed by suppressed dreams of rebellion, spurred by whispers of Meristine's oppressed legacy. The daring hope of harnessing these formidable creatures to combat the Red Sun Dominion kindled a secret fire within him.

Despite his prominent façade of diplomacy aimed at achieving peace, he harbors a deep, unspoken desire to seize power. He longs to fill the power void he anticipates once the Red Sun Dominion's influence finally wanes.

Description

Remus Thornebar Challen stands at a modest height with a wiry frame, his youthful age betrayed by a prematurely furrowed brow. His sleek black hair is neatly combed back, accentuating his hawk-like, piercing eyes. He is always seen wearing impeccable clothing suitable for his political role, donning a tailored suit with a dark tie that complements his attire's subtle elegance, allowing only brief glimpses of his suppressed ambition to peek through.
