Unknown

Born of an unknown past, this entity, like many others, began its existence not as an alien, but as a human within the Red Sun Dominion. It was either a promising cadet at Zenith Scholasticate Station K-9 or a defiant dissident who failed to meet the stringent physical and ideological standards of the Crimson Path. In either case, it represented an individual who, for the Dominion, had fallen short of perfection.

Rather than expending resources on mere execution or imprisonment, the Dominion subjected these "failures" to a horrific process known as The Quietening. This brutal psychosurgical procedure involved the cauterization of the frontal lobes, irrevocably severing the capacity for independent thought, emotion, and even the sensation of pain. The individual was systematically stripped of their former self.

From this harrowing transformation emerged a Null Servitor, officially classified as Biologically Recycled Personnel (BRP). Stripped of its name, it was henceforth known only by a serial number stamped into its collarbone, a dehumanizing mark of its new, subservient existence. Its purpose was now to serve as a living automaton for the Red Sun installations.

The Null Servitor was assigned the most perilous and undesirable duties, including dangerous hull maintenance, toxic waste disposal, and serving as expendable cannon fodder in defense operations. While the Dominion claims these beings are utterly mindless, there are unsettling whispers among spacers that suggest a darker truth.

Occasionally, a Null Servitor is observed to pause in its rote duties, seemingly staring at its former comrades with an unsettling vacancy. These moments hint that a fragment of the soul might remain trapped behind the mask of compliance, screaming silently in an internal void. Currently, this Null Servitor continues its tireless existence, perpetually patrolling a restricted sector or performing hazardous repairs, a silent testament to the Dominion's chilling pursuit of perfection.
