Komor Station

11 April 4150

Komor Station, a formidable bastion orbiting the planet Meristine, was founded on 11 April 4150. Initially, this outpost served as a humble sanctuary for exploratory scientists. Its primary purpose was to facilitate the study of Meristine's native echoes and intricate biosphere, far from any political or industrial ambition.

However, the expansionist Red Sun Dominion soon extended its reach to Meristine. As the Dominion's tendrils overcame the planet, Komor Station's purpose dramatically shifted. It was transformed from a scientific sanctuary into a formidable surveillance hub, integral to the Dominion's tightening grip.

Stationed directly above Meristine's industrial heartland, teeming with labor camps and mines, Komor became a symbol of constant oversight. Its new critical task was to identify any threats to the Dominion's supremacy. The station also ensured the seamless transport of extracted minerals, vital resources for critical Spike Drive technologies.

Over time, Komor Station grew synonymous with pervasive surveillance, casting a long, shadowy influence over the planet below. Regular transports became a frequent sight, moving between Komor and Research Camp T7 on Meristine's surface. This constant activity underscored the station's ongoing operational importance.

Recently, Komor Station has faced a significant challenge to its security. Insurgents managed to infiltrate the station, breaching its defenses and successfully wiping all server data. The station is now actively investigating this severe incident, scrambling to recover from the intelligence loss.
