Backstory

Nestled within the Meristine Wastes, an insurgent faction led by Thorne Balesworth makes a daring attempt to strike against the oppressive Red Sun Dominion. Unbeknownst to them, a band of scavengers claim the fallen RSD mining vehicle, the Fallen Colossus, as their territory, a place where they can remain undisturbed amidst the lifeless sands. These scavengers do not share Balesworth's desire for rebellion; their interest solely lies in scavenging to ensure their survival. When the party passes by, they unknowingly trespass upon the scavengers' rust-ridden domain, triggering an unavoidable conflict.
