The Grand Forum of the Axiom was originally constructed in 2750, meticulously designed as the physical embodiment of the Gelimian ideal. It stood as a structure meant to be transparent, elevating, and structurally perfect, symbolizing the core values of its creators. For centuries, this magnificent building served as the Gelimian parliament, a place where the sole requirement for entry into its chambers was the presentation of a sound logical argument.

During this long era, the Grand Forum famously had no doors to its main legislative chambers. This architectural choice powerfully symbolized the unrestricted and free flow of information and ideas within Gelimian society. It fostered an environment of open debate and intellectual rigorousness, making the Forum a true bastion of reason.

This age of open ideals came to an end approximately twenty-five years ago with the Diplomatic Annexation by the Red Sun Dominion. The building was subsequently renamed the Spire of Reason, a title that marked a profound shift in its purpose and symbolic meaning. The transparency of its glass walls, once a beacon of openness, was now ironically inverted to facilitate the Dominion's Panopticon-style surveillance state.

Following the annexation, General Kaelen Thorne, the System Overseer, swiftly requisitioned the upper 200 floors. These levels, previously dedicated to theoretical astrophysics, were transformed into a formidable fortress of strategic command and clandestine research facilities. Prime Director Solon Vex, though retaining a ceremonial office on the 50th floor, became effectively a prisoner within his own seat of power.

Today, the Spire of Reason houses the central servers for the planet's mandatory data logging system. These servers process the movements of every citizen in real-time, ensuring ubiquitous surveillance and control. Rumors persistently circulate that the deep subterranean levels, once utilized for geothermal stability experiments, have been converted into "Black Labs."

Within these rumored Black Labs, Dominion scientists are said to be studying recovered debris from the destroyed Vael Station. This stark hypocrisy, where the "Spire of Reason" stands as a symbol of both surveillance and secret research, fuels the fires of resistance across the planet. The Spire of Reason currently operates under martial law and remains under high surveillance, a grim monument to its inverted legacy.
