The Bureau of Asset Reallocation (BAR) was established at an unknown time, presenting itself as the administrative core of the Red Sun Dominion's occupation on Gelime. Its public mandate involved cataloging, sanitizing, and reselling technology and assets seized from non-compliant Gelimian intellectuals. This official facade represented the Dominion's bureaucratic control and suppression of intellectual freedom.

Beneath BAR's sterile surplus floor, The Corporate Exchange began its clandestine operations. Founded by corrupt Dominion logistics officers and opportunistic Trade Constellation liaisons, this shadow market arose from the hypocrisy of the sector. It was designed to facilitate illicit trade, operating under a strict, hidden governance model.

Access to the Exchange is highly restricted, available only through hidden doors concealed within holographic propaganda displays. Here, the very Maltech the Dominion publicly condemns – advanced AI shards, pre-annexation gene sequencers, and unmonitored comms gear – is fenced to the highest bidder. To maintain absolute secrecy, the Exchange refuses standard currency.

Instead, transactions rely solely on encrypted credit history, specifically ledger data scrubbed of biometric tags to ensure complete anonymity. This unique payment system prevents Grand Inquisitor Thorne from tracking the flow of money, enabling even Red Sun officials to acquire forbidden luxuries. The Exchange remains consistently operational, having never been abandoned since its inception.

Presently, The Corporate Exchange thrives as a nexus of corruption and clandestine commerce. Its operations are a deeply compromised secret, embodying the hidden contradictions of the Red Sun Dominion's rule.
