Hausa Village, conceived as a luxurious utopian retreat by millionaire Elias Malkuth in 1942, quickly became entangled in an ominous narrative that unfolded throughout its existence. Originally established as a haven for the elite, the village was soon overshadowed by inexplicable symbols and eerie midnight gatherings. Rumors of bizarre disappearances began to swirl, clouding the village’s reputation and ultimately leading to its abandonment in the mid 20th century. The unsettling truth behind this downfall lay in Malkuth's obsession with dark occultism, particularly his attempts to commune with the malevolent entity Ahriman.
As Malkuth engaged in increasingly dangerous rituals, the situation escalated. His enigmatic practices inadvertently drew villagers into his dark pursuits, leading to an atmosphere ripe with paranoia and violence. By 1946, the village lay desolate, haunted by the ghosts of sinister events that had unfolded. Malkuth’s legacy became synonymous with dread, his journals chronicling not just a descent into madness, but also a twisted inspiration for his descendants.
Decades later, that inspiration manifested in his descendant, Vincent Konacky, who sought to complete Malkuth's unfinished rituals. In doing so, he unwittingly unleashed a torrent of malevolent energy that transformed much of humanity into soulless Thralls under his control. This disturbing development sparked the formation of a resistance in 1997, composed of the remnants of humanity who vowed to end Vincent’s reign of terror, fraught with peril and despair.
Among those daring enough to confront this looming darkness were three brave members of the resistance. They ventured into Hausa Village, now a faded specter of its opulent past, to infiltrate the infamous Malkuth Manor. Their mission was clear yet formidable: to locate and destroy the source of Vincent’s dark power, knowing that failure would not only mean their demise but also the continuance of a nightmarish existence under Vincent’s rule. As they entered the village, ominous whispers of the past lingered, reminding them of the horrors that once enveloped this place, beckoning them deeper into the shadows.
