Born into a lower-class family in the outskirts of Coia, Myreena Shadowgleam's childhood was marred by poverty. To survive, she learned the art of silent observation, a skill that morphed into an uncanny ability to find valuable artifacts others overlooked.

Her growing obsession with wealth led her to the ruins around the old Stone Gateways, where she discovered a hidden, ancient artifact imbued with the power to manipulate gateways. Unbeknownst to her, this artifact is highly sought after by extra-planar entities. Myreena's greed blinds her to the artifact's malevolent energies that slowly corrupt her intentions, tempting her with promises of infinite riches.

Meanwhile, Myreena desires to use her growing influence to undermine the slave trade that still lurks within Coia, a noble goal tainted by her lust for wealth and the sinister whispers of the artifact.
