Backstory

Brother Aldric's life of tranquility and ambivalence is not all as it seems. Unknown to most, his apathy is a consequence of a scarred past. Before turning to religious life, Aldric was once the son of a simple farmer. However, the horrors of war encroached on his family farm, and resulting the loss of his loved ones shattered his spirit, causing him to abandon his old life and seek solace in spirituality. Now, he is haunted by guilt and regret, which he buries deep beneath a universal apathy.
