Backstory

Burko Darcy, a dedicated scholar at Candlekeep, originally joined the community to study ancient civilizations. His focus shifted to the demon Mephisto after he accidentally stumbled upon a cryptic tome that detailed a forbidden ritual connecting the demon to the Bukhara Spire Gate's power.

Burko is driven by the goal to preserve the balance of knowledge and to prevent dangerous lore from falling into the wrong hands.
