Backstory

Woldra Phonvaral was a kind-hearted and compassionate woman who lived on the outskirts of a small town nestled amidst a lush forest. The townsfolk were known for their strong belief in traditional values, and any sign of magic was met with suspicion and fear.

One day, while venturing deeper into the woods, Woldra stumbled upon a scene that would forever change her life. She discovered a wounded man lying on the forest floor, his ethereal aura shining faintly through his battered body. It was clear to her that he was a celestial being, a fallen Aasimar. His radiant features were strikingly beautiful, and Woldra's heart swelled with empathy as she realized he needed her help.

Wasting no time, Woldra brought the injured Aasimar back to her humble cottage and tended to his wounds with gentle care. Days turned into weeks as she tirelessly nursed him back to health. During this time, a bond grew between them as the Aasimar, whose name was revealed to be Taren, regaled Woldra with tales of his celestial origins and the enchanting wonders of his home realm and his fall from grace.

As Taren's strength returned, he felt an inexplicable connection with Woldra. Love blossomed between them, deep and pure, their affection was a secret flame that burned brightly within their hearts, a forbidden romance that they both cherished and feared.

However, the idyllic days came to an end when Taren's duty called him back to his celestial realm and he bid Woldra farewell. Left alone, Woldra discovered that she carried a precious gift within her womb—she was pregnant with Taren's child. Her heart brimmed with both joy and trepidation, for she knew the town would never accept her daughter if they discovered her celestial heritage.

Determined to protect her daughter Ilosa from the judgmental eyes of the townsfolk, Woldra resolved to keep Ilosa's magical abilities a secret. She guided her daughter in the ways of illusion magic, teaching her how to control her powers and make them appear as harmless tricks to the outside world. Together, they honed Ilosa's skills, ensuring that she could master the art of creating illusions without revealing her true potential.

Growing up, Ilosa lived a sheltered life, adhering to her mother's teachings and embracing a conservative existence. She masked her abilities, using illusions to entertain and delight others without arousing suspicion. The townspeople saw her as an ordinary girl with a talent for captivating performances, unaware of the true depth of her powers.
