Backstory

Varyn S'ranar, the enigmatic owner of The Veiled Nexus, hails from a lesser branch of Menzoberranzan's ruling clan. From a young age, she was groomed to understand the undercurrents of power in the dark elf society, learning to manipulate them to her advantage. Her shop, The Veiled Nexus, serves not only as a facade for selling trinkets but also as a cover for her true pursuit—gathering forbidden arcane knowledge and artifacts. Unbeknownst to most, Varyn maintains a clandestine library beneath her store, where she conducts dark rituals aimed at augmenting her power. Her ultimate goal is to undermine and eventually seize control of her more prominent relatives in the ruling clan.
