Backstory
Bandira Tacklebrack was born into the vibrant and chaotic life of the small town of Quibblecreek, nestled in the region of Coia. As a child, she quickly earned a reputation as the local mischief-maker, with a delightful knack for harmless pranks that earned laughter and the occasional ire. Her upbringing was less about parental guidance and more about lessons learned from the streets — a backdrop of barter and song where every corner was brimming with stories waiting to be told.
Life changed when Bandira crossed paths with a mysterious, otherworldly entity amidst the 'Crimson Carnival,' an annual event rumored to draw out the strange and supernatural. Entranced by promises of gifts and magical favors, her mischief reached new heights, eventually leading her into danger. A seemingly nonchalant trick exposed her to a world of shadowy dealings and dangerous game of politics...
She soon found herself caught in the intricate webs of powerful forces, accused of a deed she did not commit. The massacre at the Spire District—a brutal event she happened upon by chance—became her undoing. Bandira was swiftly blamed, captured, and imprisoned in the infamous dungeon known as the Prison of the Forsaken, her protestations of innocence lost amid the clamor for justice. Now, facing execution, she spends her days revealing the truth through fragments of song and rhyme, desperate to uncover the ones truly responsible, "The Cloaked Circle," whose machinations threaten to envelop Coia in darkness once more.
