Backstory

Elara Velasyn S'Ranar once held a prominent position within House S'Ranar of Menzoberranzan. However, implicated in a failed coup against the Matron Mother of her House, she was sentenced to life in The Forsaken Prison's deepest dungeons.

Ingeniously escaping her cell, Elara has been hiding in the tunnels that lead to the dreaded Surface Tunnel to the Underdark for several months, surviving on her wits and whatever scraps she can find.

She is haunted by the atrocities she witnessed during the Massacre of the Forsaken and fears that the vengeful spirits rumored to inhabit the tunnels might one day find her.
