Leoric Thannen, a native of the tumultuous land of Coia, has always been seen as a beacon of hope and kindness. Born into a family with a long history of bravery and service, Leoric was raised by his father, who instilled in him the values of courage and helping those in need. From a young age, Leoric was known for his unwavering willingness to assist others, no matter the risk or effort involved. His father, a renowned healer and protector, taught him the healing arts and rudimentary combat skills to be more effective in his mission to help and protect those around him. Leoric's reputation grew over the years, and he became a beloved figure in his community, always ready to lend a hand or offer a comforting word. He studied the ancient texts and healing practices, often spending long hours in the town's small library. However, unknown to most, Leoric's path crossed with the clandestine cult known as the 'Night's Embrace.' This group once aimed to harness the powers of the corrupted Bukhara Spire Gateways for their own ends. Though he has renounced their malevolent ways, he remains the last surviving member of the cult, possessing forbidden knowledge that many would kill to obtain. Despite his dark past, Leoric continues to protect those he cares about, ensuring that this knowledge never falls into the wrong hands.
