Backstory
Merrick Amberdon had always been the type to avoid conflict at all costs. Born and raised in the bustling town of
Upper Lachus within the land of Coia, Merrick spent his early years in the shadow of the forest, a place of both beauty and danger. His father was a respected member of the town’s militia, but Merrick lacked his father’s bravery and resolve. Instead, he found safety in books and scrolls. \He was often found hiding in the town’s archives, cataloging events and recording the heroic deeds of others. Despite his insecurities, Merrick’s meticulous record-keeping proved invaluable to
Upper Lachus. He was given and honorary title of Town Guard.
Description
Merrick Amberdon is a middle-aged man with a gaunt, slightly hunched frame. His hair, once jet black, is now streaked with gray and receding at the temples. He has watery blue eyes that seem to dart around nervously, and his face is marked by worry lines and a permanent frown. His attire is a hodgepodge of second-hand clothes, often too big or too small, adding to his overall disheveled appearance.
