Backstory

Dusudulth is the great black dragon mentioned in Finnian’s chronicle, the original 'Gifted One'. He inherited his mother's name and her vast hoard, not of gold, but of knowledge and artifacts. His mother was slain defending her lair from a band of powerful extra-planar marauders seeking to plunder her collection. This loss twisted the son. Grief curdled into a cold, hard avarice.

Dusudulth came to believe his mother's passive accumulation of knowledge was a fatal flaw. He concluded that knowledge is useless without the power to protect it, and power is only meaningful if it is absolute. He has dedicated his existence to a singular, relentless pursuit: the acquisition of all significant power and knowledge in Coia.
