Gorbash Krunk, known publicly as the simple and unassuming "Monk Monkerson," is a walking deception. He tells a tale of being an orphan raised by a secluded monastic order, honing his body and mind to fight for the greater good. The truth is far darker.
Gorbash was a pit slave in the lawless underbelly of Tetbury, forced into brutal cage fights from a young age. He didn't learn discipline and peace; he learned that inflicting the maximum amount of pain was the surest path to survival and dominance. He killed his master, escaped the pits, and crafted his "monk" persona by observing wandering ascetics, twisting their philosophies into justifications for his own bloodlust.
The bowl haircut is a mockery of a master who once tried to teach him humility. Now, he travels Coia as a "wandering warrior," eagerly seeking out challenges, not for enlightenment, but to satisfy the cruel, sadistic urges that burn within his shadowed heart.
