On April 1, 1248, rumors of a goat-like creature terrorizing the lands reached the ears of a group seeking bounty from Lord Arris. Led by tales of terror, they ventured into dark caves, where they encountered a horde of demons, including a Dretch, a Rutterkin, and a Bulezau. After intense battles, marked by desperation and fervor, they emerged victorious, bringing proof of their triumph back to Lord Arris. However, upon their return, they were met with a chilling vision of a demon foretelling retaliation, leaving them wary of their accomplishments and the path they tread.
The following day, Lord Arris rewarded the adventurers with gold, and he advised them to seek counsel from the mage historian, Yaldra Bretik, who might shed light on the demon's ominous warning.
