Tamburas, an ancient dragon, awoke from a long slumber within the Iron Mountain in the Year 97. He immediately joined the initial destructive rampage, a whirlwind of lightning and fury that helped lay waste to Ironhold.
However, unlike his brethren led by the vengeful Zarithar, Tamburas found the escalating conflict hollow. He witnessed the rise and fall of Meklen Armash and the Seastone Resistance, observing the eventual pyrrhic victory that left both sides decimated.
The endless cycle of violence, coupled with the perversion of dragonkind culminating in the spectral horror of the Dead Wyrm, thoroughly disgusted him. Weary of hoarding treasure and warring for territory, Tamburas abandoned the cause of dragon supremacy altogether.
He has since sought solitude, a quiet corner of Coia where he could observe the world without being a part of its endless conflicts. He found a strange solace in a dead zone within the Iron Mountains, a place where magic's chaotic influence is muted, allowing him a semblance of peace.
However, the recent rise of Velsharoon's undead dragon plague has profoundly disturbed his retirement. The stench of necromancy and the suffering of his corrupted kin are an offense he may no longer be able to ignore. He also faces constant disturbance from the activities of Redevus Branch.
