Taskan's Golem - History

History

Taskan's Golem

Taskan's Golem is the secret masterpiece of the disgraced artificer, Taskan, painstakingly constructed during his incarceration within the formidable Prison of the Forsaken. Utilizing his position in the prison workshop, Taskan ingeniously bartered, stole, and repurposed various materials to construct his magnum opus.

The golem's formidable, obsidian-like chassis was meticulously forged from rare stone, specifically unearthed from the prison's deepest excavations. Its intricate crystalline metal veins, shimmering with arcane potential, were smelted from a collection of contraband artifacts Taskan managed to acquire.

The golem's true power, however, lies in Taskan's greatest secret: its power source. A minuscule sliver of a legendary Bukhara Spire, clandestinely smuggled to him by a former associate, pulses within its core. This potent fragment grants the golem a direct and formidable connection to the raw wild magic of Coia, making it an extraordinary creation.

Dubbed "The Sentinel," this golem is Taskan's unwavering guardian and his ultimate key to survival within the harsh prison walls. It is destined to be the instrument of his eventual escape from the Prison of the Forsaken.

Currently, the Sentinel stands in silent vigil within the hidden Rune Engraved Repository, deep beneath the prison. It perfectly mimics a lifeless statue, awaiting the precise command of its master to unleash its formidable, wild magic power.
