History

Neryndil, The Deceiver

Neryndil was once a celebrated Loremaster within the Order of Sea and Stone, widely renowned for his extensive knowledge of the mystical Bukhara Spires. However, the chaos of the Civil War ignited a dangerous obsession within him. He became fixated on discovering a means to control the corrupted gateways that plagued the land.

His relentless research eventually led him to the ominous Catacombs of Woe, a sealed prison housing entities from the ancient Shadow War. There, Neryndil encountered T. Sarran, a cunning agent of the drow conspiracy, who offered him the power he so desperately sought.

The drow agent, however, betrayed him, luring Neryndil into a dark ritual. Instead of gaining control, his very soul was fused to the catacomb's focusing artifact—a corrupted Bukhara Shard. He was transformed into its eternal, spectral warden.

Neryndil's existence is now a cruel paradox; he is eternally bound to protect the very prison he once sought to weaponize. His mind is slowly eroded by the artifact's malevolent whispers and the crushing despair of his unending servitude, forever guarding the corrupted shard within the sealed Catacombs of Woe.
