Mangdaor-Roth was nurtured in the shadows of Tetbury Castle's grandeur, away from the political spotlight. From a young age, he was entranced by the secrets and lore that the castle walls whispered to those who listened. Under the tutelage of the castle's oldest sage, he learned the arts of diplomacy and espionage, becoming a silent protector of Tetbury.

He used his skills to navigate the treacherous waters of court politics quietly. However, as he rose through the political ranks, his thirst for power grew. After his coronation as Lord of Tetbury, he came to believe that there was no difference between his own self-interest and the interests of the Tetburland region.
