David Lee Roth, the jovial ruler of Aveton, is the younger brother to the austere Lord Mangdor-Roth of Tetbury. From a young age, David exhibited a flair for humor, using wit to disarmed his adversaries while charming allies. His ascent to power was marked by witty ploys that endeared him to his people, cementing his status as a shrewd yet beloved leader. Among his memorable exploits was swapping the royal seal for a frog stamp, creating weeks of humorous uproar across the city.

Although his mischievous demeanor suggests frivolity, his underlying ambition is to craft a kingdom where joy and prosperity reign. However, beneath the laughter lies a puzzling enigma: David harbors a secret obsession with a pendant given to him by an associate. Guarding it jealously, he fears the revelation of its unique properties might plunge Aveton into chaos.

As David Lee was corrupted by the necklace, he became cruel and greedy. After he was desposed by the Knights of Ubba, he was questioned and uncerimoniously killed.
