Backstory

Viremon was raised in a poverty-stricken farming family in Emberfield. Being the eldest of three, he often shouldered responsibilities beyond his years. When he was 13, disaster struck as a dragon decimated their crops.

To ensure their survival through the impending winter, his parents made the heart-wrenching decision to sell Viremon to Ursula, a local alchemist known for her unconventional experiments. During one such experiment, designed to amplify human resilience, a grave error caused Viremon's soul to violently detach from his body, leaving him a disembodied spirit tethered to the Weaver's Den.

Unknown to all, including Ursula, this event awoke an ancient spirit within the Den's foundations, intrigued by Viremon's plight. This spirit, an age-old guardian of the realm, communicated with Viremon, revealing a hidden path to reclaiming his corporeal form.

However, this path is fraught with peril, involving a quest for the Heart of Ember, a mythical gem said to possess the power to fuse soul and body. Viremon's determination to live again is rivaled only by his fear of the unknown and the immense challenge that lies ahead.

Description

Viremon is a pale, slender boy with dark, unkempt hair that barely covers his thoughtful, deep-set eyes. Despite his youth, there is a wisdom in his gaze, betraying the struggles he's faced. His spectral form is semi-transparent, revealing flickers of the material world through him, especially in strong light. His attire is simple, the modest clothing of a farmhand, now eternally unchanged.
