Backstory

Though Weira now commands a fleet, she started her journey as a humble dock hand in Milboliton, an isolated fishing village where magic is forbidden. Her early life was spent hauling nets and wrestling with heavy sails, yet her inquisitive nature and exotic aura set her apart from her peers. Her rise through the ranks was meteoric, as she displayed unmatched valor and strategy during a skirmish against pirates who threatened the coastal settlements. She quickly earned the trust and respect of her superiors, leading to her appointment as a General, overseeing maritime defense.

Despite her stern demeanor, Weira's actions have always defended her fellow villagers. Tales of her offering refuge to stowaways and captured slaves have circulated, painting her as a guardian to those without hope. Yet behind Weira's stern face and resolute leadership lies a terrifying secret—during her early days on the docks, she stumbled upon an ancient scroll hidden within the stones collected from the remnants of the Bukhara Spires. It whispered of a way to reactivate the dormant Gateways when the time was right. This secret, deadly in its potential, binds her in both fear and duty to protect Coia from repeating the devastation of the past.

Description

Weira is a statuesque figure with a sun-kissed complexion that speaks of countless days spent under the open sky. Her eyes, sharp and ocean-blue, reveal an unfaltering focus and determination. Her hair, a cascade of ash-blonde waves, flows down to her shoulders, often loosely tied back to signify her no-nonsense demeanor. She wears a uniform exquisitely tailored, bearing insignias of rank and history, which hints at her prestigious position. Armor finely crafted from steel and plate covers her, juxtaposed with leather straps that speak of agility and movement, completing her battle-ready appearance.
