Drow Elf (Disguised)
Female
Persephone, or 'Per-c' as she calls herself in public, is a woman living under the weight of a fabricated history. She is, in fact, Per'cilla T'Sarran, a noble daughter of the Great Drow House of T'Sarran, now believed to be extinct. Before its fall, she served her house as a courtier and archivist, her days spent in libraries and halls of power, chronicling the intricate political webs of Menzoberranzan. She was away in the surface world, on a scholarly mission to Tetbury to study the history of the Bukhara Spire Gateways, when a coalition of rival houses moved against her family. They slaughtered her kin and magically sealed the estate, justifying the massacre by claiming Matron Elvath T'Sarran's 'reckless magical experiments' threatened the city. Stripped of her name, wealth, and family, Per'cilla was stranded in a world that fears her kind. She survived by leveraging her one remaining asset: her encyclopedic mind. Adopting the guise of a wandering High Elf sage, she built a reputation for wisdom and dramatic storytelling. Her youth is unusual for a sage of her renown, a fact she explains away with tales of elven longevity and prodigal talent. Now, she scrapes by, her noble past replaced by constant money woes, driven by two goals: to find a beleaguered friend—another rumored T'Sarran survivor—and to unravel the conspiracy that led to her house's downfall.
