History

Sea and Stone Chapel

Located within the bustling coastal city of Milboliton on the continent of Coia, Sea and Stone Chapel has long served as a spiritual haven amid the region’s turbulence. Founded during the early settlement of Coia, the chapel became a unifying symbol for settlers who relied on the land's fertility and the unpredictable bounty of the sea.

The sacred site is dedicated to two pivotal deities: Shontea, the benevolent goddess of the harvest and the earth, and Umberly, the tempestuous queen of the sea. Through the ages, the chapel not only provided solace in times of external threats—often from other realms—but also offered guidance to a diverse population whose beliefs were harmonized under the watchful eyes of these powerful figures.

In eras marked by both prosperity and strife, the Sea and Stone Chapel stood as a beacon of hope and resilience. Under the influence of theocratic decrees, its teachings and ceremonies were instrumental in preserving unity, reflecting a legacy where humanity continuously embraced nature’s dual gifts of abundance and unpredictability.
