Backstory

Sister Loretta Maize’s life was changed forever when she, known then simply as Loretta, met a sea nymph during her childhood ventures by the coast of her seaside town. The nymph, recognizing potential within her, sparked her innate connection to the divine energies of water and earth. The event led Loretta to join the Order of Sea and Stone, where she took her cloistral name 'Isabella'.

As a cleric, Isabella is diligent in her service to the elements. Her strong connection with nature, particularly water and stone, fuels her daily duties and studies, but often leaves her feeling detached from her peers. She's known to lose herself in her thoughts, neglecting the needs and emotions of others.

Her biggest struggle comes from her unorthodox talent for manipulating the elements, a gift not typically seen within members of her order. Fearing the consequences should her secret abilities be discovered, she practices these skills in secret. This hidden aspect of her life fuels a constant internal battle within Isabella - a struggle between her loyalty to the order and an urge to explore and embrace her unique gift.
