Backstory

Meklen Renald was born into the esteemed bloodline of Meklen Armash, the legendary hero and leader who led the victorious fight against the Awakened Dragons. At 5 years old, Renald was orphaned by dragon's hunting down his family. He was taken in by Tim, son of Scott and, from a young age, instilled with stories of his ancestor's heroism, creating a sense of duty and a desire to follow in his footsteps. Determined to carry on the family's legacy, Meklen dedicated himself to honing his combat skills and understanding the intricacies of warfare.

Founding the Order of Sea and Stone years later, to continue the Seastone Resistance's legacy of protecting Coia for extraplanar threats, Meklen quickly proved his worth as a capable soldier. His tactical prowess and unwavering dedication earned him recognition. He rebuilt Whisperwind, remaking it into a fortress.

In 169 CR, The Dead Wyrm, the corporeal spirit of a dragon slain by Renald's father, only to return to claim his parent's lives, attacked Whisperwind Fortress. With its chilling breath and ethereal claws, the dragon laid waste to the once-mighty fortress, leaving behind a shattered remnant haunted by the ghosts and specters of those who perished in the onslaught. Sir Renald was believed to be killed in the battle.
